Crime Scene Cleanup.

We arrive after law enforcement releases the scene and work directly with detectives, victim advocates and property owners. Insurance-ready, court-admissible reports. Evidence-aware protocol. Discreet and confidential.

After law enforcement leaves

Crime scenes are released by law enforcement once the investigative work is complete. What remains — biological material, fingerprint powder, tear gas residue, broken glass, projectile damage, contaminated furnishings — is yours to deal with. That is the moment to call us.

We work with detectives, victim advocates, district attorneys' offices, victim-of-violent-crime fund administrators, property managers and insurance adjusters every week. Our reports are insurance-ready and admissible in civil and probate proceedings. Our protocol is evidence-aware: if anything appears to be of evidentiary value, we stop and notify before continuing.

We do not photograph the scene beyond what billing requires. Those records are sealed to your file alone. We are not journalists. We do not talk about your case to anyone — not at the office, not at the bar, not ever.

What's included

Every line item below is part of the standard scope. We don't add charges that weren't on the written estimate.

  1. 01

     Post-investigation cleanup

Once law enforcement has released the scene, we remediate to OSHA Category 3 standard.

  2. 02

    Fingerprint powder removal

Black, gray and red powders are corrosive and stain — we remove without damaging surfaces.

  3. 03

    Tear gas decontamination

CS and OC residue is dispersed building-wide and requires HVAC and surface remediation.

  4. 04

    Bullet hole & projectile damage

Drywall, trim and surfaces affected by projectile impact are documented and reconstructed.

  5. 05

    Evidence-aware protocol

We notify before disturbing anything that appears evidentiary. We coordinate with investigators.

  6. 06

    Victim-of-crime fund coordination

We help families file with their state VOCB. Many states cover full cleanup costs.

  7. 07

    Court-admissible reporting

Documentation prepared in the format expected by district attorneys and probate courts.

  8. 08

    Sealed photo file

All scene photography is treated as confidential and stored in your file alone.

When you should call

Call after the scene is released by law enforcement — usually after the medical examiner and the lead detective have signed off. The detective on scene often has our number; many of our calls come directly through that channel.

If you are the family of a victim, you do not have to be on site. We coordinate access through the property owner, the responding agency, or whichever path is appropriate. You handle what you need to. We handle this part.

What does it cost?

Crime scene cleanup typically ranges from $2,000 to $25,000. Many states fund cleanup for victims of violent crime through state VOCB programs — we help you file. Homeowner's, renter's and commercial policies often cover the rest. We bill insurance and the VOCB directly when authorized.

Estimates always free, written, never obligate you to proceed.

FAQ

Common questions about crime scene cleanup.

Can I clean the scene myself?

Please don't. Beyond the bloodborne pathogen risk, anything you disturb may complicate civil or criminal proceedings. Call us before you go in.

Will you talk to the press?

No. Ever. Confidentiality is non-negotiable. If anyone contacts you claiming to be from us asking about a case, it is not us. Hang up and call dispatch directly.

Do you work with victim-of-crime funds?

Yes — every state VOCB program. We help you file the application and coordinate billing so you do not pay out of pocket. Most states cover full bio-recovery costs for violent crime victims.

How fast can you arrive once the scene is released?

Within two hours in major metros, within four to eight hours in smaller markets, twenty-four hours a day. Many investigators call us before they have officially released the scene so we are en route the moment they sign off.
