Most homeowner's, renter's and commercial property policies cover biohazard remediation. We bill carriers directly, coordinate victim-of-crime fund claims when violent crime is involved, and offer payment plans for everything else. Most families never see an invoice.
How it works
A certified technician picks up in under twelve seconds. We ask only the basics: address, your relationship to the property, and any insurance information you happen to know. If you don't know your policy, we still dispatch — we sort coverage in parallel.
While the dispatch is en route, our billing team contacts your carrier. We confirm the type of policy, the deductible, and any pre-authorization requirements. Most policies do not require pre-auth for emergency biohazard work.
On site, we perform a full assessment and write a line-item estimate. You see it before any remediation begins. The estimate is in the format your adjuster expects — line items, square footage, materials, labor, regulated waste — so it processes quickly.
Once you authorize the work, we begin. Your role is finished. You do not need to communicate with the carrier, the adjuster, or anyone else for the duration of the cleanup.
When the work is complete, the certificate of decontamination, photos, ATP test results and itemized invoice all go to your carrier. We follow up if there are questions. You see paperwork only if you ask for it.
Some policies have a $500 to $2,500 deductible that the policyholder pays directly. We will know that number before work begins and we will tell you. There are no surprise charges. There are no charges that weren't on the written estimate.
Carriers
If your carrier is not listed, we still bill direct in the majority of cases. Call us with the carrier name and we'll confirm coverage in seconds.
Many families come to us without coverage — uninsured residential, lapsed policies, or scenes where coverage simply does not apply. We have several paths.
Every state has a Crime Victim Compensation program. For scenes resulting from violent crime, the state typically covers full bio-recovery costs (not just cleanup — also moving expenses, counseling, lost wages). Eligibility is broad, and we help families file the application as part of the dispatch process. Most VOCB claims are decided within 30–60 days; we bill the state directly when authorized.
For deaths in residential properties, cleanup is a lawful expense of the estate. The probate court typically authorizes the executor to pay our invoice from estate funds. We provide documentation in the format probate courts expect.
For unattended deaths in rental properties, the landlord's commercial dwelling policy almost always covers cleanup. If the landlord disputes responsibility, we work with the family on alternatives.
If none of the above apply, we offer payment plans starting at zero down with no interest for the first six months. Cleanup never has to wait on financing.
