Blood, Trauma & Biohazard Remediation.

OSHA-compliant Category 3 / OPIM cleanup for accidents, assaults, vehicle interiors, post-medical events and any scene with infectious material. Hospital-grade decontamination, written clearance, insurance handled.

What counts as a biohazard scene?

Anything classified as Category 3 or OPIM (Other Potentially Infectious Materials) under OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1030 is a biohazard scene. That includes scenes with blood, body fluids, vomit, feces, used medical sharps, sewage backflow contaminated with biological material, and any scene where bloodborne pathogens may be present.

Common calls: post-accident vehicle interiors; industrial workplace incidents; fall-related injuries in the home; post-surgical or post-IV bleed-through; assault scenes; needle and sharps disposal; rodent or wildlife biological residue. The work is technical, regulated, and not safe for untrained cleaning.

We arrive in full Level B or C PPE, build negative-pressure containment around the affected area, remove all contaminated material as regulated medical waste, and decontaminate every affected surface to hospital standard. Every job ends with a written certificate of decontamination signed by the lead technician.

When you should call

Call as soon as the scene is no longer being investigated by police or treated by medical personnel. Do not attempt to clean blood or other bodily fluids yourself, even if it appears to be small or contained — pathogens remain infectious for days on surfaces, and standard cleaning products do not deactivate them.

Property managers, landlords, employers and insurance adjusters: call us directly with the address and basic scope. We handle the rest — including communication with your tenant, employee or insured.

What does it cost?

Biohazard remediation typically ranges from $1,000 to $10,000 depending on contamination area and reconstruction needs. Vehicle interiors and small contained scenes are at the lower end; large industrial or commercial cleanups at the higher end.

Most homeowner's, commercial property and auto policies cover biohazard remediation under dwelling, contents or comprehensive coverage. We bill direct. Estimates always free.

FAQ

Common questions about blood, trauma & biohazard remediation.

Is dried blood still infectious?

Yes. Hepatitis B can remain viable on surfaces for up to seven days; HIV up to several days under the right conditions; MRSA for weeks. Drying does not deactivate these pathogens. Do not attempt cleanup.

Can you handle a vehicle interior?

Yes — vehicles, RVs, work trucks, ambulances, transit. Same OSHA Category 3 protocol applies. We travel to any site or arrange tow if needed.

How long does remediation take?

Most biohazard scenes are completed in a single day, often a single shift. Larger scenes or scenes with reconstruction can take 2–4 days. We give you a written timeline before starting.

What if I'm a landlord and the tenant won't cooperate?

We handle this often. Call us with the address; we coordinate access through legal channels (court-ordered access, sheriff escort, or whatever your jurisdiction requires) and proceed once we have lawful entry.
